PLANTING & RECYCLING
Recycling of Wood
Glendale promotes recycling of material as a result of their work. After any of their services there is considerable debris and materials to dispose of. Glendale has the capacity to recycle all waste materials whether it is in the form of logs or woodchips/tree bark.
Glendale use a log splitter to process customers' logs into firewood thus turning the customers' trees into a useful renewable energy resource.
However if required, all materials can be removed from site leaving everything clean and clear.
Woodland
In November 2008, Glendale planted their own private woodland of approximately 15,000 trees at their premises.
In 2018 a further 5 hectares of both Broadleaves and Conifers were planted totalling approximately 11,000 trees helping to balance out our carbon footprint.
At Glendale sustainability is at the heart of our business ethos.
